超级课程周第三季 | 梦回宋朝,哈罗海口重演人间极致风雅

几乎每一个中国人,都会与苏东坡相遇

他的诗里有孤独,有相思;有挫败,有洒脱。

他的文学,几乎包含了我们精神世界里的所有主题。于是,几乎每一个中国人,都会在不同的境遇里,与他相遇。

宋人的生活极富雅趣,宋诗、宋词、宋画、宋瓷,点茶、插花、挂画,无一不被宋人赋予雅的品质。宋代是一个值得我们换一种眼光重新打量的时代。

历经冬春两季,从去年12月到今年4月,哈罗海口超级课程周以“梦回宋朝”为主题,带领学生品味盛世风雅。

Almost every Chinese child has been exposed to the stories and poetic works of Su Shi (also know as Dongpo).

His poems are not only aboutbeing lonely and love sick, but also contain frustration and spontaneity. He displays an open-minded and optimistic attitude in his work.

His literature encompasses almost all the themes in our spiritual world.Thus, almost everyone resonates with his works in different situations.

All the brilliance in Su Shi"s personality was inspired by the circumstances in which he found himself.Song poetry, Chinese painting, Song porcelain, the art of making tea and flower arrangement were all given the moral character of elegance by the Song people.

Song Dynasty is an era that deserves to be re-examined with a different perspective.

After two Super Curriculum Weeks from December last year to April this year, Harrow Haikou Super Curriculum Week returned again with the theme of Dreaming Back to Song Dynasty, leading students to taste the culture of the Song Dynasty.

Pre-Prep

小学部的超级课程周成果集中展示在小学走廊,由学生手工制作的各种宋代元素的流体画、团扇和青花瓷等作品陈列在这里,宛如一条宋风艺术画廊。这条精美画廊来自于小学部全体学生的巧手匠心!

The results of the Pre-Prep Super Curriculum Week are displayed in the hallway of the Pre-Prep building, where the students" handmade fluid paintings, fans and celadon porcelain works are displayed like a gallery about Song Dynasty arts. These amazing works come from the skillful craftsmanship of all the Pre-Prep students!

在活字印刷体验过程中,同学们完成了中国古代印刷术演变的学习,并完成了排版—刷墨—拓印等过程。让我们和孩子一起领悟先贤传承千年的古老文明,在动手体验的过程中,穿梭时光印记,深切的体会活字印刷术知识和古人的智慧!

投壶和蹴鞠是古代雅致的娱乐活动,与古代的礼乐内涵联系在一起。同学们在这项传承千年的娱乐活动中体验宋人丰富的体育文化生活。

仿宋饰品——璎珞制作

Making of ancient ornaments

璎珞随着佛教一齐传入我国,因其华丽的色彩搭配,逐步演变成古代女性钟爱的饰品。哈罗高年级同学们在艺术老师的指导下,用丝线将不同形态的珠子绑定好,仿照宋代饰物风格,串成华丽的璎珞项链。

让学生全面回顾了中国审美之源——

宋代美学中强烈的人文精神和极富雅趣的生活风貌。

从创校首年的海洋课程与花丝镶嵌非遗艺术展,到第二年的飞行体验课程与言艺术馆跨界合作,再到今年的“梦回宋朝”主题。哈罗海口的超级课程周一直致力于在学术课程之外为学生打开更广阔的天地。

哈罗相信,学术生涯是无限的,我们不应把标准化的成绩作为衡量学生的唯一标准。超级课程将培养学生的探究能力,表达能力,解决问题的能力,创造性的思考能力,而这些正是大学及未来社会所需要人才的重要技能。

The students at Harrow Haikou Upper School visited the Sushi Art Museum in Danzhou, Hainan, where they learned about Song Dynasty poetry, calligraphy and painting, Su Shi"s anecdotes, and the elegant life of the ancient literati.

Experience of movable-type printing

During the movable type printing experience, students learned about the evolution of printing in ancient China and completed the process of typesetting, ink brushing and topography. Through this activity, the children learned about the ancient civilization and wisdom passed down by the sages for thousands of years.

宋代体育——投壶和蹴鞠

Song Dynasty-themed PE class

Two special sports events popular during the Song Dynasty were held on campus, including Cuju, an ancient Chinese football game, and Touhu, an ancient banquet game of throwing arrows into a pot. The students experienced the rich physical and cultural life of the Song people in these recreational activities that have been inherited for thousands of years.

仿宋饰品——璎珞制作

Making of ancient ornaments

Students learned about the making of Yingluo (i.e. a ring-shaped neck ornament) and make their own Song-style jewelry under the guidance of Harrow teachers.

During the week-long Super Curriculum Week, we provide students with a comprehensive review of the strong humanistic spirit within the Song aesthetics and extremely elegant life style of Song Dynasty in a full range of extended courses.

Harrow Haikou Super Curriculum Week has witnessed the success of the ocean-themed courses and exhibition of filigree inlaid metal art in the first year of the school, as well as the flight experience courses and the cooperation with art gallery in the second year. Until the successful conclusion of this year"s event, this programme has been dedicated to opening up a wider world for students beyond the academic curriculum.

Harrow believes that learning is endless and that we should not use standardized grades as the only criterion to measure students. The Super Curriculum will develop students" inquisitive, expressive, problem-solving and creative thinking skills, which are important skills that universities and the future society need for their talents.
