The annual International Day at QISS was a huge success, as the wider Qingdao community came together to celebrate. Flags were waving proudly during the opening flag ceremony and students, teachers, and families alike wore traditional attire from around the globe, transforming the campus into a colorful tapestry of global cultures. The event was a feast for the senses, with tantalizing aromas of exotic cuisines wafting through the air, and the sound of laughter and music filling every corner. From beautifully decorated booths that explored various cultural traditions to captivating performances that showcased talent of our students, staff and the wider community, the day was a vibrant showcase. The event not only fostered a sense of belonging and appreciation for diversity among the students but also reinforced the school"s commitment to our values of integrity, creativity, inclusivity and compassion. As the sun set on the day, and families bid farewell with hearts full of joy and appreciation, it was evident that the spirit of International Day would continue to thrive at QISS, inspiring a generation of life-ready leaders.

칭다오 제1 국제학교(QISS)의 연례 인터내셔널 데이 행사가 대성공을 거두었습니다. 칭다오 커뮤니티가 모여 다양성을 축하하기 위해 함께 했습니다. 개막식에서 알록달록한 국기가 게양되고 학생들, 교사들, 가족들 모두 전 세계 각국의 전통 복장을 입고 캠퍼스를 다문화의 화려한 그림으로 탈바꿈시켰습니다. 맛있는 요리의 향기가 공기를 가득 채우고 웃음과 음악이 구석구석을 가득 채웠습니다. 아름답게 꾸며진 부스부터 학생, 교직원, 커뮤니티 구성원의 장기 자랑까지 하루 종일 활기가 넘쳤습니다. 이번 행사는 학생들의 소속감과 다양성에 대한 감상을 강화할 뿐만 아니라 정직, 공감, 포용, 창의력이라는 학교의 가치를 강조합니다. 석양이 지고 가족들은 기쁨과 감사의 마음으로 작별을 고합니다. 인터내셔널 데이의 정신은 QISS에서 계속 번창할 것이며, 한 세대와 한 세대의 삶에 지도자가 될 수 있도록 격려합니다.

The QISS College Fair was a tremendous success! We had nearly 50 international universities on our campus including Duke University, Boston University, Michigan, Monash, Temple, Leeds and more! It was a great opportunity for our students and parents to ask questions and engage with admissions representatives and understand the admissions process in more detail.
