首届家委会成立
在教育工作者眼中,1加1的答案除了等于2,有时也大于2,比如家园共育带来的惊喜。
凭借着对教育的灵敏嗅觉,以及对于家校之间紧密沟通合作的高度重视,中山市阿丁莱幼儿园早早将“建立首届家委会”的任务提上了日程,这意味着我们将与有着相同抱负和志向的家长代表一同制定家委会的相关准则,共同联手辅助孩子们未来的发展。
关于首届家委会
凝聚我们的力量,可以创造孩子的另一个未来。
首届中山市阿丁莱幼儿园家园联合委员会(简称家委会或PSG)由八位园所管理人员以及九位家长代表组成。其旨在通过不断促进、优化家校之间的沟通和合作模式,实现深度陪伴幼儿成长、深入支持幼儿发展的共同教育目标。
在实现学校工作高度透明化、解决不同家庭的成长烦恼之外,家委会还将集思广益,以整合优质资源、开发社会渠道等方式,通力构建一张可以全方位服务于在读学生及学生家长的综合性、支持性教育网络。
为了帮助家委会成员们更好地成长、更有默契地共事,中方园长韩静女士和幼儿园小学外方副校长Colby博士就园所最新的动态进行了分享。从与天津茱莉亚学院的项目签约、IB PYP的专业课程、CPR & AED急救培训,再到孩子们现阶段的成长评估,我们相信当家园双方拥有了相同的步伐、认知,并能够以不同的角度、想法去思考,才是帮助促进教育有机结合,达成家园共育的最佳方式。
当天,家委成员们更是收到了一份另类的课题。
中山市阿丁莱幼儿园的首次秋游活动即将悄然而至,面对场地挑选等问题,家长代表的加入,让我们仅用一场头脑风暴便收获了一堆数不清的绝妙方案。
而比这些想法更值得欣喜的是,每位新上任的家委成员们都让我们感受到了她们的慷概付出、她们的强烈责任感,以及那些只有站在父母角度才能发掘的微小细节。

共学共育
IB家长工作坊
您或许不了解孩子好奇心和求知欲的起源,又或是无法清晰解答他们眼中种种的“物外之趣”,但我们相信以共同学习、共同教育的方式,将能够帮助身为家长的您更好地助力孩子们的奇思妙想和成长道路。
本次IB家长工作坊由幼儿园学术副园长及IB PYP协调员Caroline老师主导。她先是通过三个关键词“学术、品性、期望”帮助家长们重新定义了对于孩子的教育方向,紧接着又以趣味的互动游戏帮助家长们在一个轻松愉悦的氛围中,快速熟悉IB的由来、IB的使命宣言、 IB的课程以及IB学习者的培养目标。
在我看来,本次家长IB工作坊大大促进了家园间的联系,而将IB的教育理念和孩子成长轨迹相连接的课题,更让家长对IB教育和对其孩子的教育有了更清晰的认知和蓝图。其中部分正被眼前问题所困扰的家长们也都能在这里收获些许启发,这是我们作为教育者最喜闻乐见的事情。
在往后,我们更是希望定期举办家长工作坊,又或是其他的讲座、沙龙,不断分享更多国际前沿的优质教育理念,并与家长朋友们形成更加紧密的学习教育共同体,携手赋能孩子们的明天!

对于家园共育,中山市阿丁莱幼儿园始终抱以高度认可和支持的态度。在我们看来家长与老师都在孩子成长道路上扮演着至关重要的角色,而家园共育的展开,既可以为双方提供对等的交流平台,更是能够不断激发教育的高阶思维。
倘若双方能够一直以紧密沟通、相互培养的理念为孩子施以更加细腻的教育,那么想必他们的天马行空自然也会早日觅得一处栖息之地。
A child"s development is a systemic project, witha focus onfood, clothing, housing, academic development, dealing with people and life wisdom...... Countless challenges and problems will follow. In order to maintain this ‘growth project’ parents and the school must cooperate with each other as close and tacit “partners” on this journey.
A home partnership model that brings together strengths, communication, common ground while reservingdifferences, in order to makecontinuous progress will give children the strength to look to the future and the motivation to reach for the stars.

Inaugural Meeting
of the First PSG
In the eyes of educators, the answer to 1 plus 1 doesnot only equal 2, but sometimes it can equal more than 2, such as the strength assembled by a strong home-school connection.
With a keen sense of education and a strong focus on close communication and cooperation between home and school, the school has put on the agenda the task of establishing the first PSG of Ardingly College Zhongshan(Kindergarten), which means that we will work with parent representatives who share the same ambitions and aspirations to develop the guidelines for the PSGand to lead the future development ofall ourchildren.
The First PSG
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
The first Ardingly College Zhongshan(Kindergarten) Parent Support Group(PSG) consists of eight members of the school managementteamand teachers as well as nine parent representatives. The PSG aims to achieve the common educational goal of deeply accompanying children"s growth and supporting their development by continuously promoting and optimising the communication and cooperation between home and school.
The PSG is designed to provide a comprehensive and supportive network to serve students and their parents in a holistic manner by integrating quality resources and developing social channels, in addition to providing a high degree of transparency and addressing the concerns of different families.
In order to help the PSGmembers grow and work together better, Hannah, the Head of Early Yearsand Dr.Colby, Head of Lower Schoolshared the latest developments happening atschool. From being the first kindergarten in China to sign a strategic partnershipwith the Tianjin Juilliard School, Our IB PYP Category 1 training for all teachers, Our CPR & AED first aid training, to the children"s current stage of growth assessments, we believe that when the school,home and familieshave the same progress and knowledge, and can think about issues from different perspectives andprovide innovative or creativeideas, it is the best way to help promote organic education and achieve co-parenting of home and school.
On the firstday, Our PSGwere presented with their first task. As the first field trip ofArdingly College Zhongshan(Kindergarten)was about to arrive, teachers who had a lot of teaching experience but were new to Zhongshan had to keep searching for ideas and thoughtssuch as venue selection. With the addition of parent representatives, we were able to brainstorm a bunch of great ideas.
What was even more pleasing than these ideas was the generosity of each of the new PSGmembers, their strong sense of responsibility and the small details that can only be identified from a parent"s perspective.

The First IB
Parent Workshop
You may not understand the origins of your child"s curiosity and desire to learn, or don’t have a clear answer to the "world" they see, but we believe that by learning together and educating together, we can help you, as parents, to better understand the whims and fancies of your child"s development and support them on their future learning journey. The workshop will be conducted by our IB PYP Coordinator Caroline.
The workshop was led by Caroline, our Lower School IB PYP Coordinator. She first helped parents to redefine the direction of their children"s education through the three key phrases"Strong Academic Focus, Virtues Focused, Overall Expectation Orientated", followed by a fun and interactive game to help parents to quickly familiarise themselves with the origin of IB, its mission statement, The IB curriculum and IB learner development goals in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. In my opinion, the IB parents workshop has greatly facilitated the connection between home and family, and the topics that connected the IB philosophy with the developmental trajectory of the children have given parents a clearer understanding and blueprint of IB education and their children"s education. Some of the parents who were troubled by the issues at hand were also able to gain some inspiration from the sessions, which is something that we as educators are happy to see.
In the future, we hope to organize regular parent workshops and other talks and events to share our educational philosophy and ideas and form a closer learning and education community with parents to empower their children for tomorrow!

At Ardingly College Zhongshan(Kindergarten), we have always been highly supportive of meaningful parental involvement. In our view, each parent plays a vital role in the growth of a child, and the development of a parent learning communityprovides a platform for reciprocal communication between us, as well as stimulating higher orderthinking and models of education.
