Holly在与内在欲望斗争的路上,

选择了有爱的家人,与圣诞节和解。

Holly has chosen to reconcile with Christmas by having a loving family.

“圣诞节简直无聊透顶!”Holly摔掉了自己的礼物。人人期盼的快乐节日里有这么一位姑娘讨厌着圣诞节,因为她的愿望从未实现。她不想要那些可爱精致的礼物,一心想要寻获亲生父亲的踪迹。她守候在深夜,想亲自抓住圣诞老人,而这次等来的却是圣诞老人的儿子Bumblehole……他在Holly的威逼利诱下透露圣诞老人的胡须拥有神奇魔法,并在无意中复活了Holly的泰迪熊。泰迪嘴上说着圣诞快乐心里却想着永生,展开了邪恶计划。一切,朝着不可预测的方向发展,一场彻头彻尾的圣诞恶作剧,开始了。

"Christmas is boring as hell!" Holly dropped her present. She hated Christmas because her wishes never come true. Everything is in an unpredictable direction.

莱克顿年度大戏在前几年更注重于经典剧目和异想天开的精美舞台制作,今年则转向更具挑战性的“面对面”喜剧演出与剧中剧形式,并融入了布偶戏。台上泰迪熊的表演需要布偶师操控完成,Holly的泰迪熊是一只来自俄罗斯,两英尺高的布偶熊,他有点小叛逆,有点小邪恶,被Bumblehole意外复活后便怂恿着Holly偷取圣诞老人的胡须。在剧中,它需要像正常人一样工作,和Holly聊天、冒险。导演大胆地把布偶的操纵者Elaine同学请到台前作为角色之一扮演泰迪,沿着泰迪的计划继续展开剧情。

Lucton annual drama show shifted to a more challenging "face-to-face" comedy show incorporating puppetry. Holly"s teddy bear was from Russia who was a little evil. The director boldly invited Elaine, the Muppet"s manipulator, to the stage as one of the characters to play Teddy, and the plot continues to unfold along Teddy"s plan.

泰迪的熊生里每天都有着Holly的陪伴,他是Holly的父亲留给她唯一的礼物。意外复活后的泰迪欺骗Holly自己就是她的亲生父亲,只是经历种种灵魂被困在了泰迪熊体内。小Holly渴求父爱亲信了他的话,希望他能活下去一直陪伴她。可圣诞老人的魔法胡须只有在圣诞节当天有效,怎么才能让泰迪每天活下去呢?机智的Holly表示每天都过圣诞节不就好了。

每天都过圣诞节?真的有那么美好吗?

时光,音乐,人物流转,圣诞节重复了一天又一天,持续了一个月的圣诞让电视上无新闻可播。此处导演安排了剧中剧的情节,当Holly家打开电视,旁边的电视展板内出现了现场播报员和场外连线人员,侧面展示每天都是圣诞节的世界并不美好,大家已经筋疲力尽,过去积攒一年的祝福和期待都在消失殆尽,甚至开始混乱。

Teddy deceived Holly that he was her real father, but his soul was trapped inside the bear. Little Holly was thirsty for her father"s love and believed his words. Santa"s magic beard was only valid on Christmas Day, how can Teddy live every day? Holly said that it would be good to have Christmas every day. Here the director arranged the plot of a play. When Holly"s family turned on the TV show that every day was Christmas. Everyone was exhausted, and even began to chaos.

Holly意识到事情的严重性,也看到了家里人因为自己的决定开始争吵和指责,而这一切都是因为自己的自私导致。泰迪开始害怕,妈妈揭穿了泰迪的谎言,亲生父亲也在召唤下出现。Holly的父亲竟然是一只猫?!猫咪Tomas解除了Holly被抛弃的误会并告诉她,无论父亲是什么样的形式出现,你要用心感受爱,谁是爱你的,你要如何爱他们,什么样的选择能让爱的人幸福。最后Holly毅然选择了恢复世界的秩序。一场荒诞、童真、搞笑、唱跳的一场沉浸式欢乐大戏结束,大家载歌载舞,明白有爱的人就是亲人,和亲人在一起就是最美好的圣诞。

Holly realized the seriousness of the situation which was all caused by her selfishness. Holly"s father turned out to be a cat called Tomas?! Tomas told her that you have to feel love with your heart, who loves you, how you are going to love them, and what kind of choice will make the loved ones happy. In the end Holly resolutely chose to restore the world to order.

童真烂漫的《Get Santa》戏剧演出,其核心依旧是用戏剧去寻觅爱之所在。戏剧能带给大家的另一项体验便是同理心,比如从故事背景代入主角Holly,“设身处地”站在Holly的立场看待事物,再从其他配角与情节的推动下和Holly一起经历心境的变化和成长。人的关系,如父母对子女,老师对学生,总是希望彼此了解,了解彼此的欲望、需求、相似和不同。每个人都有着自己的心情故事,戏剧提供了一种沉浸式体验方式,让学生得以参演Holly的人生,透过她的眼睛看世界。当一个人具备了同理心或同情心,就能够理解他人的处境,能够和这个世界和解,就像最后Holly与圣诞节和解。

The core of the play "Get Santa" was the search for love through theatre. Human always want to understand each other, understand each other"s desires, needs, similarities and differences.

本次莱克顿全自制戏剧对戏剧人物性格,主角之间的人物关系,人物之间的紧张局势的表现等等有着更高的要求,大家整整筹划排练了六个月之久。相比较经典剧目,此剧目的情节对话演出形式多了很大的发展空间。导演与联合导演带领学生进行文本分析、剧本创作、和戏剧幕后制作统筹,将自身对戏剧的热爱传递给大家。演员们不仅要背下大段的台词,更要体会角色的情感,配以表情、动作,相互配合,才能达到完美的效果,小到一句台词的语气,大到整个舞台的布置,给了演员们改动和创新的机会,这些创作空间在无形中锻炼了学生的领导力。让学生们了解自己的擅长点的同时,集思广益创造出一个纯真的Holly的世界。

It took six months of planning and rehearsal. Compared to the classic play, this play has a lot more room for development in the form of dialogue. The director and co-director led the students through text analysis, script writing, and passed on their love of theater to the audience. It allowed the students to understand what they are good at while brainstorming to create a world of Holly.

《Get Santa》由戏剧老师Mr. Warburton和十三年级学生Elaine H和Nicolas L同学联合导演,并作为A Level戏剧科目的一部分来进行评估。他让演员们认识到戏剧是从剧本阅读理解,作品赏析,演绎,唱歌,跳舞,音乐、设计部分如服装,舞台,灯光,道具等等台前幕后作为一体的艺术作品。

值得一提的是,演出背后还有一支由音乐老师组建的莱克顿学生乐队,承包了本次演出的原创谱曲、配音和背景音乐现场演奏。任何戏剧作品,总是离不开其创作背后的特定氛围和场景的转换,若是配置与其相适应的音乐,则有助于加强人物情感的渲染。在此剧中,整场戏剧的配乐部分,利用了钢琴、大提琴、贝斯、长笛与鼓交织一场时间转换后情绪高低的人物表演大戏。如开场结尾的庆祝圣诞唱跳部分、圣诞老人来临的期待时刻、时光倒流的前后对比等等,推动了剧情发展,促使事件形成,强调演出节奏让演员和观众沉浸其中。

Get Santa was co-directed by Mr. Warburton and Y13 student Elaine H and Nicolas L. It is worth mentioning that behind the performance there was a Lucton band formed by music teacher, which contracted the original score, dubbing and background music live performance for this performance. In this play, the entire scoring part of the play utilizes piano, cello, bass, flute and drums to interweave a big drama of characters" performance with high and low emotions.

现场感、互动感、音乐特效、舞台特效、即时性等特点是戏剧的最大特色。莱克顿学生们出色的英语表达力,扎实的表演功力和肢体表现,师生之间配合默契,是整个演出的关键。本次戏剧演出中,收到了超预期的效果,观众直言精彩,表演结束台下掌声连连。这离不开前期主创人员、演员及后期人员的辛苦付出,为了能够让演出达到预期的完美效果,演员们加班加点做道具,抽空练习形体、背诵台词。正是他们的不懈努力,不断追求完美,才使本次戏剧表演活动得以圆满完成。

The sense of scene, interaction, music effects, stage effects, and immediacy were the most important features of the play. It was their unremitting efforts and constant pursuit of perfection that made this drama performance successfully completed.

《Get Santa》演绎了一个关于成长的故事,学校也为学生们创造独立展现自我、发挥特长的成长平台。莱克顿学校从创办之初起,就开设了包括体育、音乐和戏剧等多种课程。其中,戏剧作为莱克顿“全人教育”的一个重要部分,鼓励学生参与戏剧表演,不仅提高了他们的表达能力,还培养了他们自信心,沟通,社交,自律和领导的能力。表演艺术还有助于学生洞察他国文化和探索他人生活的世界,并勇于表达自己。希望他们发现自己的兴趣与潜能,完善人格,走向卓越,在戏剧中可以好好享受,尽情释放,在未来创造一切可能。

《Get Santa》 is a story of growth, and the school creates a platform for students to express themselves and their strengths independently. Students are encouraged to participate in theatrical performances that not only enhance their expression, but also develop their self-confidence, communication, social skills, self-discipline and leadership. We hoped that they will discover their interests and potential, refine their personalities and move towards excellence, and that they can enjoy and release themselves in theatre to create all possibilities in the future.
